About
Formed where the Narmada River narrows and plunges 30 meters down into a smoky mist, Dhuandhar Falls is Jabalpur's premier natural landmark. The cascading spray creates continuous water mist that gives the waterfall its name ('Dhuandhar' meaning smoke-cascade). Visitors can view the torrent from riverbank boardwalks or glide overhead via cable car.

Dhuandhar Falls in Bhedaghat is among the most famous waterfalls in Madhya Pradesh. Plunging over hard rock formations before heading into the soft marble canyon of the Narmada River, this cascade creates a thunderous roar heard from kilometers away.
